My recent stay at Hoar Cross was quite a mixed bag. On one hand, the scenic setting and the quality of the food were outstanding. The staff really went above and beyond with their attentiveness, especially in the restaurant. However, the experience was marred by room issues and overcrowding in the spa area. Overall, while I enjoyed certain aspects, I would hesitate to recommend it without a guaranteed refurbished room.
